When the radio station 106 VIC in New York put The Little Heroes' "Bridges and Tunnels" at #9 on its list of top 120 songs of the year, people took notice that this relatively unheard of act was beating out fellow mainstreamers like Coldplay, The Killers, and Pearl Jam. The band's debut, Cinematic Americana, not only presents the aforementioned track, but an array of equally impressive tunes.

"Desperate Moves" is a rock instrumental piece, and the very first music composition I ever recorded. I wrote this back in 2001. This version was re-recorded in 2009. I could never find a decent vocal melody to match the music, hence why it has remained an instrumental. I'm playing all the instruments on this track.more
